Meet Sophie Danvers

Q: What are your three top tips for healthy skin?

I have a few more than three!

My top ones would have to be:

  • Drink lots of water.
  • Don’t use excessive skin products as it’ll only aggravate your skin more, especially if you’ve got spot prone skin or sensitive skin.
  • Only cleanse with gentle products but make sure you’re also removing all of your makeup.
  • Change your pillowcases regularly and clean your phone if you’re on it a lot.
  • Reduce your sugar and alcohol intake.

Q: Do you prefer winter or summer, and how do you prepare your skin for the cold weather?

I love winter clothes and feeling cosy, but I definitely prefer summer.

I always try to prepare my skin for the cold weather. I take my Vitamin D3 & Calcium supplements and Hyaluronic Acid. Moisturising is key too.

I overcame my worst years by opening up and talking about how I was feeling, even if I was unsure about why I was feeling the way I did.

Q: What are your top tips for mental wellbeing?

Personally, mental health is something I’ve struggled with and I know it effects so many others. I overcame my worst years by opening up and talking about how I was feeling, even if I was unsure about why I was feeling the way I did.

Stress and anxiety affect me the most sometimes if I have a lot on my plate or am unsure about certain situations, so I find writing down a to-do list helps to clear my mind and ticking things off when I’ve done them is the best feeling. Also, writing down the things I’m grateful for, writing some goals and affirmations and just taking 10 minutes to myself. Taking the dog for a walk helps too.

Q: What motivates you?

Honestly, my own experiences motivate me. The things I’ve been through in the past push me to stay healthy and look after myself. My work goals and dreams also help to keep me going and my bucket list of places I want to visit motivates me to work hard.

I love the Hair, Skin and Nails Gummies and the Hyaluronic Acid… the gummies taste so good.

Q: Which Myvitamins product is your favourite right now, and why?

I love the Hair, Skin and Nails Gummies and the Hyaluronic Acid, they’re so good for your hair, skin and nails and the gummies taste so good. Other products I love are the Collagen Pancakes, Vitamin B12 Spray and the new Defence Shots.

Q: What do you like the most about being a Myvitamins Ambassador?

Definitely the variety of products and how good they are. It’s amazing to work for a brand which I would genuinely recommend, especially the products in the Beauty Range.

Mainly though, I love weight training, I feel strong and it pushes me which I love.

Q: What’s your favourite way to keep fit?

I’ll be totally honest, I’m not the type of person that can just go for a run. I used to run all the time, but I really struggle with it now. If I want to incorporate cardio into my routine, I much prefer a fun HIIT workout. Mainly though, I love weight training, I feel strong and it pushes me which I love.

Q: We know you love to bake, what’s your favourite Myvitamins recipe?

Yes, I love to bake! Myvitamins Cacao Powder is a game changer for baking. I have such a sweet tooth for chocolate, so I do love a brownie or cupcakes. I’m going to try some new recipes soon, maybe something with the Collagen Powder.
