Vitamin A

A fat-soluble vitamin essential for growth and repair, vision and the functioning of the immune system. Used by every organ in your body, and essential for iron metabolism.

B Vitamin Complex

A combination of eight B vitamins, used for increasing energy levels and supporting macro-nutrient metabolism. The B vitamin complex is important for the functioning of the nervous system, skin, red blood cells and eyes. Supplementing with Vitamin B complex will help reduce feelings of tiredness and fatigue.

Vitamin C

Vitamin C, also known as ascorbic acid is required to support the formation of collagen for healthy hair, skin and nails. It is also a powerful antioxidant which helps protect cells against oxidative stress, support the immune system and aid the absorption of iron to reduce tiredness and fatigue – a pretty great all rounder!

Vitamin D

Needed for the absorption of calcium into the body to support the health of bones, muscles and teeth. A lack of vitamin D can lead to bone problems and osteoporosis. Recent studies have found that Vitamin D can also protect the body against cold and flu. The body cannot make vitamin D, it must be supplemented, or taken in through sunlight.

Vitamin E

Found in supplement form and in nuts such as almonds, vitamin E is the healthy skin vitamin. An important one for keeping skin radiant and nourished and helping with healthy ageing.

Folate

Especially important for pregnant women, folate is involved in red blood cell production, protein synthesis and fetal health.

Glucosamine

Found naturally in your joints, glucosamine prevents inflammation and joint pain. It must be supplemented, as there are no food sources of glucosamine.

Haliborange

A popular fruit-flavoured multivitamin for children and teens, Haliborange contains essential nutrients including vitamins A, C and D.

Iron

Iron is needed to produce healthy red blood cells. A lack of iron can result in anaemia, a condition characterised by a lack of oxygenated blood, leading to low energy levels and feelings of fatigue.

Vitamin K

For healthy blood clotting and bone health. If you’re lacking in vitamin K, it may take you longer than usual to recover from an injury.

L-carnitine

An important one for strength athletes, L-carnitine is produced in the presence of creatine, a popular supplement for increasing explosive power and speed.

Magnesium

Magnesium is needed for over 300 biochemical reactions within the body including a healthy musculoskeletal system, cardiovascular and heart health, as well as energy metabolism. If you get tired easily – you might want to think about supplementing with magnesium.

Niacin

Brain health, blood cell production, healthy skin, digestive tract function, all of these things rely on niacin to function properly. You’ll find niacin in supplement form, or in whole grain foods.

Omega Fatty Acids

Omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids work to reduce the likelihood of cancer, while promoting optimal brain function, cardiovascular health and reducing inflammation in the joints and tissues.

Potassium

Essential for the proper functioning of your heart. Potassium helps to regulate cardiac rhythm, and the maintenance of normal blood pressure.

Riboflavin

Riboflavin is one of the B vitamins, and works to maintain healthy blood and bones, as well as promoting optimal brain function.

Selenium

Important for the functioning of certain antioxidants, and essential for cell growth, healthy skin and bones, as well as energy metabolism.

Thiamine

Another one of the B vitamins, thiamine is needed to help your body process energy and maintain your energy levels throughout the day.

Zinc

Zinc is essential for the health of the brain, bones, heart and energy levels, as well to keep your muscles working properly.
