What is Organic Camu Camu Powder?

Sourced from the Amazon Region of South America, Camu Camu is a bush which grows wild along the flood plains and is extremely flood tolerant. The fruit is a reddish purple berry with high vitamin C content. Traditionally used in native diets as flavouring in sweets, Camu Camu berry is also used in drinks and preserves.

 Due to its high nutritional content it is increasingly being used as a food supplement. Raw Camu Camu organic berries are cleaned in natural water, dried and then ground into fine powder. Organic Camu Camu powder is certified organic by the Soil Association under the code GB-ORG-05.

What are the Benefits?

Camu Camu Powder is a good source of Vitamin C. Vitamin C contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
