Bland but good source of vegan protein

Pleased with this as I can add to stews, curries and soups etc. It tastes terrible in smoothies but I add to hot spicy foods and you don't know its there!

Great alternative protein!

It's a very good pure protein not that bad as i thought when you mix it in your smoothies with plant based milks or sweeteners.


Actually, I haven't seen the apparent result yet. But it is cheep and its taste isn't bad as I thought before

Great pea protein

I've been using this for a while now and have to say that it's simple and therefor vey good. It has no additives, unlike so many other proteins, which is a real advantage to me as too may of them have stuff like bulking agents, sweeteners and 'flavourings'. When it comes to the taste, it's not all as bad as some reviews will tell you. I mix this every morning with some orange juice and I'm totally happy with it. To make it a more suitable for sports activities (as a vegan), I do add some amino acids to it. Overall, unbeatable in price and quality for me.

A great cheap protein

I opted for this protein because of the low price. It also appealed to me because it doesn't contain all of the additional ingredients of many protein shakes. Be aware that unflavoured and flavourless are not the same thing. I make shakes with this and add cocoa powder or instant coffee to taste. I have been using this when I started training 8 weeks ago and I've had great results. It's a clean and healthy protein just don't listen to the people that say you can add scoops of it to foods undetected as that just isn't true.


This stuff has to be the most disgusting thing that has ever found its way into my mouth. If you can imagine what gone off wallpaper paste would taste like and then combine it with an after taste of peas then you are about half way to imagining how vile this product is. I have experimented with cooking it in a number of different ways, all of which are equally revolting. It makes an almost passable omelet in small quantities but not in large enough amounts to actually aid training. I suggest that you buy rice protein instead, which is vastly more palatable. The only acceptable purpose for this stuff is for sticking up posters or as an emetic for pets you don't particularly like.
