What is Freekeh Flour?
Freekeh Flour is an ancient type of wheat and is related to the durum family. It is rich in protein and minerals such as magnesium and is ideal for anyone looking to increase their daily fibre intake and reduce body fat levels.
Freekeh Flour is high in fibre providing over 8g of fibre per 100g and low in saturated fat and salt. Freekeh Flour provides 12% protein which will contribute to the growth and maintenance of lean mass.
Freekeh Flour is ideal for anyone looking to increase daily fibre intake. This can be added to foods to improve the nutritional content as well as being consumed separately as a high carbohydrate (low GI) and high fibre food supplement.
