Purifies the blood

 

This beautiful green substance has been found to play a fundamental role in helping to remove methylmercury (metal found in seafood), from the blood stream.  The fresh water algae bind to unwanted metals and toxins flushing them out of the body through excretory channels.

Not only does it purify the blood, it oxygenates it too. The high chlorophyll content of chlorella, which is very similar to haemoglobin, mimics the action of haem by transporting oxygen around the body.

 

Lowers cholesterol

 

Over half of the UK population is currently suffering from high cholesterol, a condition which is often attributed to lifestyle factors such as diet, lack of sleep and inactivity.  Chlorella supplementation has been found to positively alter lipid profiles in those with raised cholesterol, by reducing low density lipoprotein (LDL) and triglyceride levels (the bad cholesterol) within the blood. Improves digestion
