Who We Are
Gary Sandman, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, age 53. He has
over 28 years in the alternative health care. At 18 years of age he
was diagnosed with hypoglycemia. Luckily his practitioners were trained
in the use of natural health care and supplements. He was placed on a very specific nutritional
program. No sugars or sweets, a top multi-vitamin supplement and a
new eating pattern of small meals throughout the day. Over 30 years
later Gary remains at the same weight and has no signs of hypoglycemia
or diabetes. He believes that he was lucky to see the inherent weakness
his body had to glucose control. By eating supportive foods and avoiding
foods that could worsen his hypoglycemia he has been symptom free
for all these years. " I want everyone to have that same advantage
as I did. Let's find out what our Achilles heal is now - and create
the supportive nutritional program of foods and supplements so that
we can enjoy great dynamic health and avoid serious chronic illness."
He graduated from the University of Maryland with a B.S. in Psychology
and a minor in premed. He also participated in the graduate program
in Alternative Medicine at Sonoma State College. He created the
first credential Integrative Medicine referral service on the east coast
used by the public and local hospitals to locate credentialed natural
health care practitioners. Gary was instrumental in co-founding the
National Committee for Principles and Future Vision of Complementary and
Alternative Medicine use in the United States, this committee was
sponsored by the Chairman of the US house of Representatives Over Sight
Committee on Heath Care. He created the standards for credentialing
alternative medicine practitioners used by many medical institutions as
well as the production standards for natural supplements used today to
ensure the safety, purity and effectiveness of natural supplements. Gary
has spent most of his life educating both the public and medical doctors
about the appropriate use of individualized, whole person, natural
health care.
